What is ASD?

Admin and Special Duty (ASD) is a branch of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) that is responsible for providing administrative support to the PAF. ASD personnel are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

Managing PAF personnel records and databases,Processing PAF pay and benefits,Providing and administrative support to PAF units and organizations and Managing PAF contracts and procurement.

Admin and Special Duty Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for the Admin Special Duty Branch in the PAF are as follows:

Age: 18 to 30 years

Nationality: Pakistani citizen

Marital status: Married or unmarried

Height: 163 cm for males and 147 cm for females

Education:

  • For the 29 Admin & Special Duties Course: F.Sc (Pre-Engd/Pre-Medical/Computer Science), A-Level with Physics, Maths, and Biology, or F.Sc with any two subjects (Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, and Biology)
  • For the 130 CSC SSC: Any of the following qualifications: BA(4 years)/BSC(4 years)/BBA (4 years)/BPA (4 years)/BS (4 years)/MA/MSC/MBA/MPA with Minimum second division/BSC Engg/BE with minimum CGPA 2.5 from Pakistan/Foreign university recognized by HEC.

Online Registration:

You can apply online and at the AS&RC centre as well. After the application submission, you have to wait a maximum of two weeks for the roll number slip. After getting the slip, the candidate goes to the centre on the given test date where all his original documents are checked. Finally, a test starts that will be totally computer-based.

If you don’t have enough knowledge to run a computer, don’t worry; it’s quite easy. Firstly, the intelligence portion starts, and 50% marks are mandatory to qualify for the test. Last but not least, academic tests start that are totally based on general knowledge, Islamic study, math, and English. Here also 50% marks are needed to ace the exam.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the Admin Special Duty Branch in the Pakistan Air Force is a rigorous one. It is designed to identify the most qualified and capable individuals for this important role. The process consists of six steps: an intelligence test, an academic test, an initial medical examination, an interview, psychological tests, and a final medical examination
