The importance of the PAF Logistics Branch:
The PAF Logistics Branch is essential to the PAF’s ability to operate effectively. Without the Logistics Branch, the PAF would not be able to procure the supplies and equipment it needs, maintain its aircraft and vehicles, or distribute supplies and equipment to its units.

The PAF Logistics Branch offers a challenging and rewarding career for individuals who are interested in supporting the PAF’s mission. Logistics Officers have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and to make a real difference in the PAF’s ability to operate effectively.
How many types of commission in PAF Logistics Branch?
Two types of commission
- Short Service Commission (SSC): SSC officers serve for a period of 7-10 years, after which they may be granted a Permanent Commission (PC) or released from service.
- Permanent Commission (PC): PC officers serve in the PAF until retirement.
How to join the PAF Logistics Branch?
If you are interested in a career as a Logistics Officer in the PAF, you should meet the following eligibility criteria:

For Short Service Commission (SSC):
Age: 18 to 30 years
Nationality: Male/female citizens of Pakistan
Marital Status: Married/unmarried
Height: Male: 163 cm,
Height Female: 147 cm
For Permanent Commission (PC):
Age: 16 to 22 years
Nationality: Male
Marital Status: unmarried
Height: Male: 163 cm
Educational Qualifications:
Intermediate Level
Permanent Commission (PC):F.Sc (Pre-Medical/Pre-Engg/Computer Science) or A-Level with Physics and Math or Biology (with equivalence of Pre-Engg or Pre-Medical)
F.Sc with Physics and two other subjects from Math, Computer, Biology, or Statistics
Graduation Level
Short Service Commission (SSC):
BBA (Supply Chain Management/Marketing/Finance), BSCS/BSIT/BCS
BS (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Economics/Statistics), B(Pharmacy), BE (all disciplines excluding civil engineering)
Note: Each qualification must have a 4-year duration with a minimum second division from any reputed/registered institution of Pakistan or from any foreign university recognized by HEC.
Selection Procedure:
Online registration: You can register for the PAF Logistics Branch selection process online through the PAF website.
Initial tests: You will be required to take a series of tests, including intelligence tests, English tests, and logistics tests.
Medical examination: You will be required to undergo a medical examination to ensure that you meet the PAF’s medical standards.

Interview: You will be interviewed by a panel of PAF officers.
Selection board: Your performance in the written tests, medical examination, and interview will be evaluated by a selection board.
